Building a Legacy of Connection

Explore our history of service and community impact through our past milestones. Our hope has always been to establish a lasting legacy - one that can be passed to future Chemical Dragon Soldiers. On (this day?) a few like-minded former (retired) Chemical Corps Soldiers and a long-time supporter of the Chemical Corps held a session that would lead to ultimately breathing new life into a long-dormant organization. We all agreed to a Call to Action to relaunch the CCRA Lone Star Dragon Chapter and go through the process to build bridges with new leadership in the Chapter as well as the 48th Chemical Bridge and 2nd Chemical Battalion.
Â
4 November 2025...why is that date significant? That same small group of still un-elected Chapter members met with the command leadership of the 48th Chemical Brigade (COL Jacy Park and CSM Chylander Roberts) to re-ignite a new flame of support for Dragon Soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas. From that moment on, collectively we were determined to grow our Chapter, and find ways to support the Chemical Dragon Soldiers and their families.
